This extension of a 1905 Claremont Heritage Listed home included a new Laundry, Powder Room, Study & new Kitchen with striking stone benchtops & splashbacks with shaker style cabinetry. The large open living area complete with recycled Jarrah Flooring, feature timber windows and stacking doors opens onto a new alfresco with classic finish travertine tiles. The existing minor bedrooms and bathroom were refurbished with new raised ceilings to blend with the new additions.


This Lesmurdie home perched high on a hill needed extending to create a new kitchen to take in the sweeping views of the valley below. The extension created a kitchen area with plenty of storage finished in contrasting coloured shaker style cabinets. Originally built in 1975, the owners of this Hillarys home needed some extension along with internal alterations to create functional living space.
The entry was moved from the side of the home to the front entering under a soaring raked verandah, transforming the front elevation of this home.

South Fremantle

This South Fremantle c1935 timber and iron home was listed on the Municipal Heritage inventory. Green-Shore needed to maintain and enhance the original aesthetics, so weatherboards and cladding were replaced with new to match the existing façade to ensure the home held its contribution to the heritage of Fremantle. Internally, the home went from a typical cottage with enclosed rooms to one with a spacious & open living area with skylights, 3 generous bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a gorgeous alfresco with a gas lift servery window.

The owners wanted internal modifications & an extension for an open plan kitchen, dining & living area. The new extension included an activity room for the kids, a beautiful new modern family bathroom with a freestanding bath & a powder room. The spectacular new kitchen, dining & living areas are filled with natural light showcasing the beautiful timber boards, feature decorative plaster glass cornices & stunning cabinetry. The new floor plan has given the owners their perfect family dream home.


The owners of this classic Wembley bungalow wanted an open living area that complimented their existing home along with an upper floor extension to add another 2 bedrooms & bathroom to accommodate their growing family. The old kitchen & sleep out area were demolished to make way for a fabulous open area with kitchen, scullery, dining, living & Alfresco. Alfred Cove

The owners in Alfred Cove wanted to make some changes to accommodate their growing teenage children & create a parent’s retreat along with changes to modernise their kitchen & living areas. Green-Shore extended the front living area to make it more spacious and opened up the kitchen adding a new island bench allowing for traffic flow through the area. On the upper floor an addition of a Master Bedroom, walk in robes & ensuite created the perfect parents retreat.
The new renovations have created spaces for everyone to enjoy whilst giving all the family space & privacy when required.

East Victoria Park – MBA 2020 Winner between $200-250,000

The Owners to this 1920’s cottage came to Green-Shore looking to go up. Making adjustments achieving budget, proposed a second storey addition with stunning raked ceilings cuddling a Bedroom, swooping through a study/games room exiting onto a balcony. Situated on a corner, 10mm Vlam hush glazing was installed to silence the busy road. 8 steel columns were required to support the new upper level, skilfully installed within the existing stud work. Cladding and trimmings to match the ground floor, makes it seem like it was two storey from the beginning.

Mount Hawthorn – MBA 2020 Finalist between $300-$400,000

One of Mt Hawthorn’s finest. This Gem had a rear extension, second storey addition and Carport.  The ground floor extension hollowed out nesting a kitchen, meals and living area leading out to a gorgeous verandah. The second storey has a bathroom 2 bedrooms and an activity room which creates a children’s retreat.

Churchlands – MBA 2020 Finalist between $250-$300,000

Originally built in 1981, the owners of this solid brick & tile home requested a much-needed refurbishment. This involved removing all existing terracotta floor tiles to the main living areas to lay modern rectified porcelain. A complete refurbishment with modern layouts to all the wet areas plus Kitchen. topped off with an Alfresco and outdoor kitchen.


This 1970’s original brown brick affair had slowly shifted with the times. With a growing family it was time to move UP. An adults retreat expands the entire upper floor served with a master bedroom, en suite and separate toilet. The ground floor effortlessly glides from front to back by filling in the sunken lounge and knocking down the signature archways of the time period that divided the dining and lounge. A transition from tile to tin roof outshining the neighbourhood on completion.


Built in late 1950s, this overlooked 3×1 oasis was due for a makeover. Internally sculptured into a 2×1, creating a master bedroom with a large walk in robe, expanding the original bathroom into a Grand suite and opening the kitchen up with all the mods. Once the pool was filled this created an easy to care, lock and leave outdoor area with a massive Alfresco off the main roof to entertain the masses. To finish off, an upgrade to a double garage which gave a lift and more modern look to the front.


This stunning beachside residence needed some extensive internal alterations and refurbishment to bring it back up to date with current trends and match the grand exterior of the home. New wet areas throughout, designer kitchen, study and lounge room have resulted in a stunning make over with a modern on trend interior featuring great use of timber, colour and texture.


Although this home previously had some internal renovations done, the owners wanted to remove the old sleepout and further extend the home to create a new master with ensuite, generous study nook, laundry and open plan kitchen/meals/family area. The ensuite features a skylight over the shower and gorgeous marble tiling. The Shaker kitchen is stunning with a large island bench.


This semi rural property was desperately in need of some TLC and after much discussion, Green-Shore was engaged to achieve just that. It is hard in just 3 pictures to give you an idea of the scope of this significant renovation and the stunning results achieved. Hopefully the photos provided give you some idea of just how charming and contemporary this property is now.


For Trent and Coby, they were living in the perfect secluded part of Daglish. However, their existing home had a closed in feeling in the existing kitchen/meals/family area due to the low and varied ceiling heights. This area also had little connection with their basic but north facing alfresco area. We sorted out the ceiling heights inside to link the existing, already renovated kitchen to the family room and then created a beautiful, contemporary alfresco. Inside to outside is now seamlessly linked with new views to the pool and beautiful northern light flooding into the house.

Mount Lawley

For Louise and Shane this was a very special renovation project. This was the home that Louise grew up in as a child, so the decision making process here was even more emotional that normal. After a number of different concepts and budgets were discussed and amended, we finally settled on a significant downstairs and rear elevation renovation, along with a new second storey for the children, including views to the river and new Stadium. From the front, the character of this stately home was maintained, despite the new second storey. The owners now have a “new home” of which they are justifiably proud!


Greg and Alison had owned a typical, single level Wembley bungalow on a busy street for a number of years. More room was the brief, so the decision was made to relocate the children upstairs to new bedrooms, a bathroom and activity area. A previous experience with another builder had made them think that they could not achieve their new second storey with the available budget, but Green-Shore was able to give them what they wanted for the budget they had in mind including a total re-roof in colorbond.

East Victoria Park

This timber framed, weatherboard cottage was typical of many in the suburb. Michael and Carlie badly needed extra room for themselves with a rapidly growing family of boys. A Master Suite was added upstairs to the rear of the house along with new timber doors to their existing alfresco from the family room. The external result was seamless and inside their “new” house, the parents are very much appreciating their new upstairs Master Suite.


This typically dated 70’s home needed a full internal refurbishment to create bright, open living areas & functional spaces. The refurbishment included new floor tiles to all the living areas, renovated bathrooms, a new kitchen and laundry, removal of all the face brick and archways along with some internal structural alterations to make this home spacious, modern & a pleasure to come home to!


A Perth couple and their 2 children came home to Perth from Sydney to find their dream home. The house they chose was ideally situated but in need of some major renovation. Only 8 months after commencement, the house was barley recognisable including new second storey Master Suite, retreat and private balcony. City Beach

This was a 60’s City Beach home in need of more space and freshening up. Downstairs, a feature stone wall was removed opening up a space for a newly re-located kitchen and meals area with polished concrete floors looking out to the backyard pool. Upstairs saw a new Master Suite created. A new double garage rounded out the project.


This typical Woodvale home was transformed internally with walls being removed in the previously pokey entry/lounge/dining/kitchen space to create an open, bright and beautiful new living, meals and kitchen area


An 80’s double storey is partially demolished and then beautifully renovated to allow for a side by side subdivision in this sought after lakeside location


Our Contract Designer Jamie introduced this client to us. He tweaked their original brief to relocate the kitchen and create a beautiful north facing kitchen/meals/family area leading onto a totally refurbished alfresco area. We tendered competitively with a number of other builders and were lucky enough to secure the job. The transformation was outstanding!
